Designed by Marcos Garavelli, Brick Cross is an old station from 1958 with a restored sand-coloured facade, a large clock and a new iron and glass roof over the hall. Next to it stands a modern glass extension with a bar, and on the other side a corner building with the NEWSBrick newsagent.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe model is built to be seen from both sides. At the front you walk through three arches into the hall, with a black and white chequered floor, a golden staircase, a departures and arrivals board and a piano. At the back runs the platform along a stretch of track, with a ticket machine, a route map, a bench and even a rat under the platform edge.
