Technic 42215 Volvo EC500 Hybrid Excavator: a set from 2025 with 2,359 pieces, from the Technic theme. This LEGO Volvo EC500 is a large motorized model of Volvo's hybrid excavator, more than half a metre long, for adult builders who like construction machines.
A battery powered motor and a gearbox drive the excavator. With a lever you choose one of 4 functions to move the boom, the arm and the tool. The set comes with two tools that you swap: a shovel and a hydraulic hammer. By hand you open the cab doors, move the tracks and turn the upper body. The black and yellow Volvo colours, the orange railings and the EC500 Hybrid print make it a striking display piece next to other Technic construction machines.
- Motor and gearbox with 4 functions for boom, arm and tool
- Interchangeable shovel and hydraulic hammer
- Opening cab doors, moving tracks and rotating upper body
- Model about 29 x 54 x 24 cm (height x length x width)
- Age 18+
- Box size about 52 x 48 x 12.5 cm
